# Buffs & Debuffs

Region buffs will have both positive and negative impacts on the region as a whole, and will affect every citizen who is settled there.&#x20;

Buffs are triggered either automatically on daily basis based on region order and prosperity.&#x20;

Buffs can also be triggered by rulers in the City Hall by issuing policies.&#x20;

Types of Buffs and debuffs.

* Resource production boost: increase the production or amount of resources of one type obtained with commands.
* Resource cost debuff: increase the number of resources of one type needed for a command.
