# Cowherds

In BLOCKLORDS, Cowherds are the nurturing force behind your dairy production, managing the [cow  pen](/game-mechanics/farming/buildings/building-types/cow-pen.md) with care and expertise.

**Responsibilities and Outputs**:

* **Caring for Cows**: They feed and milk cows, managing the dairy aspect of your farm.
* **Meat and Milk Processing**: In addition to dairy, they handle meat processing, turning it into [Food](/economy/resources/food.md), thereby diversifying your food resources.
