Hero Duels in BLOCKLORDS represent a core gameplay mechanic where strategic battle skills are tested in 1vs1 matches. This system is meticulously designed to reflect both competitive spirit and the high stakes of medieval combat, where heroes can earn renown, suffer injuries, or even meet their demise.
Free Duels: The number of free duels a player can initiate each day depends on their House level.
Additional Duels: After reaching the daily free duel limit, players can purchase additional duels using renown.
Heroes risk getting injured or killed during duels. Deploying an already injured hero increases their risk of severe injury or death.
Seasons: Organized into set periods (typically 30 days), with players striving to achieve higher ranks for better season rewards.
Rank Tiers:
Bronze (Levels 1-10)
Silver (Levels 1-10)
Gold (Levels 1-10)
Platinum (Levels 1-10)
Diamond (Levels 1-10)
Legend: The highest rank where players are scored based on duel outcomes to distribute rewards from the $LRDS prize pool.
Advancement: Winning duels can promote players within and between ranks. Consecutive wins offer faster progression, especially in lower tiers.
Protection Mechanisms: In Bronze, Silver and Legend ranks, mechanisms prevent rank demotion after losses, and match players against weaker robot heroes to prevent consecutive losses.
