# Stone & Stone Bricks

[Miners](/game-mechanics/squads/squad-types/farming-squads/miners.md) and [Villagers ](/game-mechanics/squads/squad-types/farming-squads/villagers.md)are crucial for stone gathering. They can extract stone from the[ stone mine](/game-mechanics/farming/buildings/building-types/stone-mine.md), which your Miners can then refine into stone bricks. These bricks are essential for advanced construction projects. Keep in mind that the stone mine, much like the forests, depletes as you mine it, but it also replenishes over time.
