# Renown

Renown is a central currency in the BLOCKLORDS Dynasty system. You can earn Renown by:

* **Embarking on** [**Missions**](/game-mechanics/dynasty/assets/heroes/hero-missions.md)
* **Slaying Enemies in** [**Duels**](/game-mechanics/dynasty/assets/heroes/hero-duels.md)

Renown is the driving force of a Dynasty, powering your house and allowing you to:

* **Research** [**Traditions**](/game-mechanics/dynasty/houses/house-levels-and-traditions.md)
* **Send Your Heroes on Missions & Duels**

By strategically earning and utilizing Renown, you can enhance your House's capabilities and ensure your heroes achieve legendary status within BLOCKLORDS Dynasty.
