# Commanding

When heroes command squads in BLOCKLORDS, they bring their expertise and leadership qualities to the forefront, significantly impacting the squad's performance.

**Roles and Impact**:

* **Leadership**: Heroes lead the squads, providing strategic direction and decisions during various operations and battles.
* **Enhanced Performance**: Under the command of a hero, squads often perform better due to improved tactics and morale.
* **Special Abilities**: Heroes may also impart unique abilities or buffs to their squads, enhancing their effectiveness in specific tasks or combat.
